The profile is the first place potential clients will see and read about you. This is where you need to sell yourself and describe all you can do. Below are some ideas about writing the best possible profile:
- Select a good, clear profile photograph. Make sure you are smiling and look presentable – you want to look your best.
- Describe yourself; how long you have been a carer and do you have any specialist skills? Try to be different.
- Hobbies/interests? What do you like to do? Eg Sports, reading, cooking, crosswords, spending time with family etc
- Please check your grammar and spelling. It may be helpful to get a friend to check it through before submission. This profile will be read by many and you need to stand out and sound appealing to your clients and their families. Emphasise any unique character skills you have, whether they be language skills or specialist areas you, as a carer, have achieved in the past.
- Personal Statement
